Location and Living Environment

Fukuyama-city is located in the eastern part of Hiroshima Prefecture. With a population of 460,000 people, it is Hiroshima’s second largest town. Fukuyama-city faces the Seto Inland Sea and is an industrial city centered on JFE Steel’s Fukuyama Steelworks. It is blessed by a warm climate and is an easy place to live. Fukuyama is aiming to stride forward into the 21st century, and to be a place of cultural exchange on the Seto Inland Sea based on the idea of an urban area that is kind to both people and the environment.


Miroku-no-sato Japanese Language School Of International Culture Institute is situated in Numakuma-cho, which faces the beautiful Seto Inland Sea and has long been a center of foreign trade.
